Visit the Wonderful Creatures of SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World

Two levels below the famous Siam Paragon shopping mall lies the even more famous SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World. The underground aquarium is not just another fish tank, but it is the biggest marine life waterpark in all of South Asia. Separated in seven different zones, the huge aquarium has a varied and astounding collection of fish, sharks, whales and a lot of other aquatic animals. There’s even an aquatic petting zoo for your kids to pet starfish at! It’s wonderful to look at these creatures that we would never see otherwise, and that’s why the appeal of the park isn’t just limited to children.

Spend Some Time with the Family at Lumpini Park

Lumpini Park in Bangkok is rich, lush and a downright gorgeous place to spend some time in. In fact, unless you have been in the park before, you might just find it quite surprising that such a place even exists in this populated city. Go there in the afternoon on one of the weekends to row, paddle and play with your children, or maybe just watch them play on the green grass, as you sit peacefully under a tree with your better half. A good number of excellent massage parlors are also there in the vicinity of the park, so feel free to go for a massage Bangkok and enjoy the legendary massage and spa experience that the city is famous for, while your children enjoy themselves in the park outside. It could truly be a two for one scenario if you think about it!

Go Visit the Gentle Giants at an Elephant Sanctuary

The Thai elephant was, at one time, considered to be at risk of extinction due to rapid urbanization and hunting. Thanks to efforts by the compassionate Thai people who still remember their old connection with the gentle giants, the Thai elephants have now been saved from extinction and these sanctuaries play a big role in keeping it that way. A good elephant sanctuary doesn’t let people ride elephants, but you and your children will be able to spend time bathing baby elephants and getting to know them close up, which is an experience of a lifetime. As you spend some more time in the city, chances are that you will find out about even more activities to participate in with the children, but until then, these three should keep the family fairly entertained.
